STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
In 1986, the world´s worst nuclear disaster occurred at the Chernobyl power plant. Soviet authorities established a 30-kilometer "Exclusion Zone" around this nuclear wasteland, but in 2006 a second explosion rocked the damaged reactor, destroying all life and forcing the Zone´s borders to expand. From this epicenter came waves of mutated creatures, deadly radiation and strange anomalous energy. The zone was cordoned off by the military, who shot anyone foolish enough to endure the horrors inside.

The year is 2012, a man is moving further and further into the very heart of the Zone, driven by reports of strange “artifacts” endowed with anomalous energy. Mercenaries and bounty hunters compete to recover these artifacts, which are sold at exorbitant prices on the black market. Others strive to find the truth about the Zone, and some simply revel in the desolate lawlessness of this place. Whatever their motivation, over time these people - Scavengers, Trespassers, Adventurers, Loners, Assassins, Explorers and Robbers - became known as the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.s.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Skies takes place in 2011, a year before the events of the original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. a game.
A group of stalkers for the first time reaches the very heart of the Zone - the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - and causes a cataclysm on the verge of disaster. A huge explosion of anomalous energy transforms the Zone: once reliable and relatively safe roads are no longer so, the landscape is erased by outbreaks of anomalies, and previously unknown areas appear on the map of the Zone. Stalkers and expeditions die or find themselves isolated in lost territories.

What new challenges await stalkers in the depths of the new zone? Why do anomalous outbreaks continue to shake the Zone and what can be done to stop them? Which faction will prevail in the Faction War? These and many other questions will be answered by the official prequel - S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat once again takes computer gamers to the vicinity of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, which exploded in 1986. This so-called “Zone” is a heavily contaminated area, cordoned off by the military and now combed by so-called stalkers, modern treasure hunters, in search of unique artifacts. In the role of agent Alexander Degtyarev, disguised as a stalker, the player will have to investigate the mysterious disappearance of five military helicopters and thereby withstand various groups of stalkers.
